Spexx

In the polarized East Coast/West Coast rivalries in the Rap and Hip Hop world, Texas doesn’t have much room to bust onto the scene. But with rappers UGK, and Scarface, it’s obvious that something’s going on in the Lone Star state.

Spexx follows in those footsteps, walking the same Houston streets as Face before him, then making his way west to lend those south-western sensibilities to the West Coast sound.
I’m just trying to pass the truth to the people, says Spexx, (aka Sam Houston).

Those truths won’t be found in the glitzy and indulgent rap scene, they’re back in the cities where the real people live. You got to stay real to write the real.

Spexx has been rapping that way since grade school when he realized his talent for writing. He loved the music as much as he loved getting up in front of people. Rapping is as natural to him as the blood pumping through his veins and he says, he won’t stop until he’s hit the top. They’re going to say ‘No matter what, he always gave his best’. My lyrics and my music will always stand up to scrutiny.
